She Can Do Hard Things

September 1, 2019

When I look at her I see strength, willingness to push through tough stuff, joy, gratitude, aliveness, the love of a good challenge, and a zest for life.

She is very different now, just a month later, (fighting the fight of her life after brain surgery for a glioblastoma grade 4), but none of those things I see have changed. She will power on, climbing different kinds of mountains, doing hard things, and making her way over boulders on her path.

Because she can do hard stuff, with help.

None of us are in this alone. My support team is forming and they are helping me power through.

Even if the day ahead of you seems hard, you’ve got this. Because we can do hard things. Right?! Please go have an amazing day my friends. Find your joy and share it, take care of yourself, and be kind to others.

Ribbons of love from my heart to yours, Pam

More about Pam

I spent decades climbing mountains figuratively, and finding obstacles on every path I chose. I grew so depressed as an aging mother to adult children with special needs that I had lost who I was. That's when I discovered hiking and the mountains near my home. There's nothing like the peaceful solitude of watching the sunrise from a mountain top. Nature feeds my soul and has made me whole again.
